Everyone
could use more beautiful mixed media art illustrations in their life. That’s why when I came across artist NikyRoehreke’s work I felt it needed to be shared.
Niky uses watercolor, hand drawing and collage to create these amazingly
fashionable art pieces that highlight her love of hands. Roehreke is German/Japanese artist who
graduated from the Central St Martins in London
and now lives in my neck of the woods: good ole’ Brooklyn .

ooh la la
What’s not to like about this spread styled by the
oh-so-stylish The Glamouri? The colors, the dresses, the makeup: stunning. Honestly, I’m completely in love. For more detailed info about outfits, click here.

coming from the greats
You know if am always scouring the great world wide web to
find the next big thing. So whenever I discover something great, I am
disappointed I didn’t find it sooner (however still happy I found it). Please allow me to introduce Infashuated,
featuring up-and-coming artists, interviews, and inspiration, among many other
things. Found these cutie quotes on the site. Check it out.
yeah, that's hot
You think
it is hot outside, you are wrong. It is hot right here. Yes, and you didn’t even have to leave the
house. Imagine the sun radiating off your metallic wardrobe in the Peruvian
desert. This FGR exclusive photoshoot
with beauty Nadja Bender is so steamy it makes the weather here in NY seem frosty.
Stay cool...

caitlin mcgauley, illustrator
Whimsical, feminine, and refined to perfection CaitlinMcGauley creates work that is lovely in every way. After reviewing many of her
illustrations, it is clear she has a flair for jewelry, home décor, and flowers.
We certainly have similar interests. After a career in textiles, McGauley now
works from her Chelsea
apartment and uses NYC streets and culture for inspiration. I had to show you some of my favorite images I
found of her work. They were found all
over the www, but mostly here on the artist’s website.
Hopefully this brightens this dreary day. Have a great loong weekend!
