diy: pastel hair extensions

Supplies:
Small scissors
6 ply thread
Colored hair with weft (I used real hair so it looked more natural)
Sewing needle
Hair clips (bought from a beauty supply shop)

To start: Cut and separate your thread. The shorter the thread the easier I found this to be. Pull one strand of thread apart from the bundle one piece at a time or it will get tangled.  I used 3 strands of thread which seemed sufficiently secure.

Line up hair weft with the holes on the hair clip (see above).  Thread needle through clip and weft leaving about 2” excess thread.  Bring thread back around again about threading through about 4 times.

Knot thread twice (if you do not know how to do this, you should not be doing this project) and bring thread over to the other side of the clip and continue.  Different hair widths may require different amounts of clips- I did not use more that three on any one extension.

This is what the finished product should look like:

Continue until you cant take it anyone and then install (watch below video with application process).

For best results: Find a lovely awesome friend that is willing to model them for you (thanks Aggie, you are the best! xxx) and show off all your hard work.

Have a happy day!
